Metal prints are a uniquely durable fine art medium that are vibrantly colorful, brilliantly luminous, and preserve exceptional detail. The print process involves infusing dyes directly onto specially coated aluminum sheets. Because the image is infused INTO the surface (and not on it) the art takes on an almost ethereal radiance. I love to print on metal and let me tell you why: it's colorful, it's contemporary, and it's functional. My clients admire my work for its bold color and metal really allows the vibrant tones in a landscape or flower close-up to shimmer and pop. Metal also transitions well between traditional and modern designed spaces, so no matter what your current mood or location a metal print is sure to fit in with style. The durability of metal prints makes them a great choice for locations with children and pets, variable humidity (bathrooms, covered patios), or high traffic/mess areas (kitchens, dining rooms, hallways). Cleaning a metal print is as simple as wiping it gently with a microfiber cloth. Additionally, metal prints are lightweight and can often be hung non-destructively, such as with 3M velcro picture hanging strips.
My metal prints are available in a variety of finishes and mounting/framing styles to suit your decor. When selecting a finish, keep in mind the lighting conditions of the area where your art will be displayed. While the high gloss prints have the most striking color and luminosity, they also produce more glare than a satin or matte finish. Select a sheer metal finish when you want the silver tone of the aluminum base to shine through (all white areas in an image show up as light silver, which can be nice for creating an edgy or modern feel - a style that often works well with my urban or abstract images).
