How is a "fine art print" different from a regular photo?

A fine art print is made to stand the test of time. It is something you can enjoy for a lifetime and pass on to the next generation. The paper and inks used are of the finest archival quality and are designed to enhance the visual experience. The artist has ensured that the color and quality of the image on print matches their artistic vision as closely as possible. When an artist offers fine art prints of her work, you know you are receiving the very best of the best.
Regular photos - those printed on traditional photo lab paper - are nice but do not match fine art prints in quality and longevity. When you decide to invest in art for your home or business, I highly recommend investing in fine art prints. Under normal display conditions (indoors, out of direct sunlight, standard relative humidity and interior temperature) these prints will remain beautiful and vibrant for at least 100 years! Some of my print options, such as metal prints, are even more flexible for use in challenging environments.
